Class details

Will the sessions be recorded? 

Yes, all classes will be recorded and available for viewing for a full month after the class ends.

What happens if I miss a class?

Each class recording will be available for you to watch at your convenience and you can post any homework assignments in your own time. Getting direct feedback from the artist leading your course is not promised, but generally group members are really great about keeping the conversation going.

How long will registration be open for each course?

Registration will stay open through the last week of the course. Participants comfortable viewing recorded sessions for the weeks that have already happened are welcome to register at any time before the last live session.

What if I can no longer make the course time after the course starts?

All of the classes will be recorded and available to view if you can’t make the class time. After the first class of the course begins, we cannot refund your payment. Contact us to discuss your options.

What is the format of the class?

Because each course is taught by a different artist, teaching styles will vary, but come expecting to roll your sleeves up and write your brains out!

How do I log in?

How do I know what my password is? What do I do if I’ve lost my password?

How do I find my course(s)?

  • Use the account drop-down menu by clicking your profile picture in the top-right corner to go to Courses > My Courses.
How do I find my group(s)?

How do I access and view my live class?

The links for each week’s live class will be posted to the respective week of each course. The page for each week will unlock on the day of the class.

On the day of the class, you will see a countdown timer on the page for the respective week. The countdown timer will change to a “Join Now” button 10 minutes before the scheduled class start time. Click that button to access the live class via Zoom.

Click “Start Course” or scroll to the bottom of the course page to view all the weeks in a course for which you are enrolled.

How do I access the recorded class video?

The recording for each week’s class will be posted on the course page, in the respective week.

You will be able to access a video and an audio recording.

So, for example, if you’re looking for the recording for Week 1:

  1. Go to your course page
  2. Click “Week 1”
  3. Click “Show Recordings”
  4. Click “Show password” to view/copy the password before opening the recording
  5. Open the recording, enter the password, and view!

Using your group

How do I upload video to my group?

Paste a link to your YouTube or Vimeo video in a post on your group feed to automatically embed your video.

Note: You cannot upload video directly to the AGW site.

How do I tag a group member?

To tag a group member, type “@” and then their user name. This will send them a notification in the notification bar in the top right corner on the site.
