Writers Be Blockin is an opportunity to find your voice and find new ways to tell, revamp, or edit the same story as a way to ignite ideas for writing and creating with a purpose.

Expect discussion, digging, and honesty, as well as how to transfer those findings into poems.

Expect to acquire the fundamentals of moving through writer’s block.

Writers Be Blockin includes:

  • Weekly 90-minute live writing and discourse facilitated by Ebony Stewart
  • Feedback on your work
  • A dedicated place to complete assignments, discuss ideas, and share your work

About the Instructor

Ebony is an international touring poet and performance artist. Her work speaks to the black experience, with emphasis on gender, sexuality, womanhood, and race, with the hopes to be relatable, remove shame, heal minds, encourage dialogue, and inspire folks in marginalized communities.
